We have several Subcold products this is in use as a beer fridge in our home bar. Brilliant product, nice and attractive with LED light (can be turned off if not required) and has plenty of space.Noise level is low and barely noticeable. The temperature control is excellent and easily keeps drinks cold.Next time we need a small fridge it will be a other Subcold

The SUBCOLD 65L Mini Fridge works great overall. It keeps everything at the perfect temperature and provides ample space for a mini fridge. The design is compact and stylish, making it a great addition to any room.However, I’ve encountered a minor issue with the appliance: when the compressor kicks in, it produces an annoying buzzing noise. While it doesn’t affect the fridge’s functionality, it can be quite distracting, especially in a quiet environment.Despite this, the fridge’s performance is solid, and it meets my needs well. I feel that with a few improvements in noise reduction, this could be an excellent product. For now, it’s a good choice if you can overlook the noise issue.

I bought this Subcold drinks fridge about four years ago and have found it to be very reliable and good at keeping drinks cool to cold.Although I chose this to fit on the kitchen counter, I moved house and it doesn’t fit in my current kitchen. But this is no problem as it sits very nicely on the laminate floor of the dining room. The fridge being around 63cm high, it is quite a convenient height to put a tray of drinking glasses on top.The temperature of the fridge can be varied by turning a dial inside. In my house (room temperature around 21°C), setting it to the coldest setting (level 5) causes the fridge to regularly frost up at the back. The manufacturer recommends setting it between 3 and 4 and I can confirm that this does tend to yield the best results.For me, level 3 gets drinks down to about 10°C while level 4 is about 6°C. These temperatures (I measured these with a probe in drinks rather than a fridge thermometer) are best achieved when the fridge is pretty well full. The temperature also does seem to vary a bit in different locations in the fridge.Keeping it at about level 4 keeps my lager and mixers at a nice temperature and I find it okay for white wine as well. The capacity of the fridge is good and the shelves can be moved around a bit or removed to best suit your needs.I haven’t ever achieved the lowest temperature in the listing (3°C) but in my case, I don’t want the fridge that cold.I’ve removed the bottom shelf to allow 330ml beer bottles (or larger sized cans of beer) to be stored upright in the fridge. This also frees up some space on top of the moulding that covers the compressor where it is possible to store up to fourteen 150ml mixer cans. There is also a shelf designed to accommodate wine bottles and a top shelf that is suited to 330ml cans.The fridge features a double glazed glass door which allows you to see all of the contents without opening it and there is also an internal light which can be switched on or off as you prefer. The light is more for ambience than being of any great use (it isn’t all that bright) but it does make the fridge look quite nice if the room itself is dimly lit.Another feature of the door is that it is reversible so it can hinge on the right or the left and it is also lockable (two keys are included). Both of those are useful features although I haven’t personally taken advantage of either.I’m very pleased with this fridge. It comes at a good price, is quiet and seemingly fairly efficient and has a good capacity for various sizes of cans and bottles. And it also looks impressive.
